I’m not usually someone who falls for a certain look. My style is probably a little more bright and colourful, or contrasty than olden world charm or vintage portrait. But put a little girl, in a white crochet dress with a brolly in front of me, and well, I guess I’m anyone’s.
It was a typical summer Brisbane day. BOM report, “Chance of showers, most likely morning or afternoon” Vague, but to be expected.
I had organised the family to come a little early as I was concerned about the showers, however sometimes, over planning doesn’t go the way you want it to. It rained and it stopped, and then it started again, the whole time the Dad and I were frantically refreshing the radar. Fortunately, situations like this make us get creative.
I simply love the way that this has come out. I would never dream of pretending to be a filmy from days gone (and now reborn it seems), however, when something makes you smile, you have to share it.
