Music and Portraits, Children Portrait, Brisbane

So I believe its completely normal to drag large musical instruments into the bush to play to the wildlife and create beautiful moving portraits.

Well, maybe not normal, but a lot of fun.  If you are musically minded, you can imagine it was quite an amazing experience really.  The quiet of the bush, the bellbird song and the Double Bass making music for our ears and musical portraiture for our eyes.

Sometimes its the unusual and the surreal that we are attracted to – I kind of like that this is a combination of these two things.  I like this mostly though because this is a defining portrait of this gorgeous girl.  Its her double bass, she plays it beautifully and music is part of what defines her years.

A girl after my own heart, there is something really amazing about having such a talent and a passion at this age.  I can’t wait to see what she does with it in years to come.
