Family. This session was all about that. I love it when I’m asked to capture relationships including grandparents and grandchildren – those special relationships when words are not needed, the unsaid is understood with a look, a hug or a special bowl of warming soup. These are why I’m a family photographer.
This session was photographed at the beautiful Tambourine Mountain, a photographer’s dream backdrop, each turn being more special than the last. Perfectly reflecting the family’s close bonds, the beauty in both the girls (yes Mum I said girls) gorgeous peaches and cream complexions, the boys relaxed, loving cheeky faces, and the warmth and protection of grandparents arms.
I’m emotional today, and looking back over a session like this makes me all mushy – beautiful family. So glad to have been able to photograph you all. May your family treasure these for years to come.
