I have been the family photographer for this family for the past 5 years (yes S & P it has been that long). It is lovely seeing the kids grow and change from toddlers and kindy kids cuddling chickens to suddenly having bigger girls that do ballet and even bigger boys that play soccer.
These siblings have such a beautiful relationship with each other, and to see that relationship foster and grow in photographs is just amazing, its why I do what I do. I love seeing those relationships grow and change and their personalities too, it is such a privilege to be part of. I’m sure I have said this before, but it is so true. When we look at photographs of our family, we need to see all those little aspects of their relationships and personalities , sometimes you can’t put your finger on what it is, but if it is there you know it, because you can feel it.
The reason for this session was a joint birthday celebration – and these two parents celebrated in style at the Brewery in Milton. Hence, the location for the session – such great diversity in an urban location like this. I like throwing the rule book out the window and just going with it.
