2016 was one crazy year for most people, and for me it was no different.
The ups were huge – New York and Atlanta being a highlight for me. 3 days in NYC followed by 3 full on days at The Baby Summit in Atlanta. It was a trip I’ll never forget, surrounded by incredible people and working with and learning from the best in the business.
Turning 40 was huge – I don’t mind the number at all, and am just glad to finally get here.
Another up was judging at QPPA – The Queensland Professional Photography Awards – 3 days spent amongst my peers examining some of the best work in Queensland.
The downs fortunately are drowned out by the incredible ups in my mind. Despite their challenges and like everything, we work through them and try not to let them get to us.
I am incredibly thankful for so much from 2016, including the incredible opportunities I’ve been so lucky to experience.
To all my clients from 2016 – thank you for an amazing year and for allowing me to capture your family for generations to come. To those coming in 2017, let’s get into it!
