The Tribe, Brisbane Portraits

Capturing family relationships is what makes my heart happy.

Great Grand Daughters, Daughters, Great Aunts, Mothers, Grandmothers, Sisters – these women are all these things to someone in this photograph.  This image says, these people are all my people, they are my tribe.  They make me who I am.

Global societies means families are spread across the world. While those that love us may not be next to us always in their person, the strength of their love has no limits, and their hearts are never far from us.  It is images like this that become the pieces that hold us together as a family.  This is what we cling to when life becomes tough.

And perhaps it is images like this, that remind us that we are all cut from the same cloth 🙂

For the record, I love both images equally.

Yes, we love each other, but yes, we also don’t take ourselves too seriously.  Those that laugh together, will really, always be together.
