Family Photography Sessions

Q. What areas do you photograph in?

A. I'm not going to lie. My favourite spot to photograph in is Mt Cootha, its like having my own outdoor studio in my backyard. However I do photograph at any location all over Brisbane and both coasts all for my standard session fee.

Q. Do you photograph outside Brisbane?

A. I sure can and do. Contact me for a detailed quote depending on the location.

Q. What do we wear?

A. Be yourself. I always suggest wearing what you are most comfortable. Whether that's what you would wear to a BBQ at a friends house or something a little more dressy, it's up to you. The only thing I do suggest is to stay away from large logos and heavy stripes. You don't want your clothing to be the photo, you want them to compliment the photo and allow your true selves to shine through.

Q. What if my kids play up?

A. All kids do. I expect it, it is never a shock and its usually more about getting their parents attention. Just know that, unless its dangerous, its best to let it go. Don't forget you'll be in these photos too, there's no point glaring at little Johnny for not doing the right thing. I'll get what I need and I'll let you know if I need you to step in.

Q. I get nervous that the little ones aren't really looking at the camera or doing the right thing and I just want to help.

A. Honestly, I will get the shot. When you are jumping around making baby laugh in the background they are looking at you, instead of the camera. I have the best chance of getting those beautiful images of your little ones if you watch from afar.

Q. Can we just buy the digital files?

A. We all live in the digital age, and want access to digital options, so yes of course there are digital only options. However, just remember that prints on the wall make a house a home. You can't get the feels from a framed USB on the wall. Digital technology changes and those digital files may not be around in years to come, whereas a print, well those beauty’s last for generations.
